Trust me, I know how much you want to hold on to every second

My love for capturing life & freezing time in a photograph came from looking through the totes (& totes & totes) of photos my family has.

There are photos spanning many decades. Photos of loved ones we lost years ago. Photos of day-to-day life. Posed photos with cheesy grins taken at JcPenny's. Photos of us with missing teeth & bruises. We were laughing at our outfits and sniffling trying not to cry reminiscing of all the memories those photos bring back.

And for a brief moment, I thought: how blessed am I that I get to capture photos like these for other people?

That one day people will sit around a tote full of photos and reminisce with their family about all these special moments during that time In their lives. And little 'ole me got to have a small part in that. With every click, I remember this could be the last photo taken of a loved one. I will never take that lightly.

I'm so grateful people trust me for these moments. And beyond thankful you all choose me to tell your story through my vision and art. What a lucky gal, I am.
